Hi,
I have just uploaded a new release to
ftp://ftp.guug.de/pub/gcrypt/gnupg-0.2.15.tar.gz (507k)
I checked this release on two linux boxes and on a Alpha.
* Fixed a bug with the old checksum calculation for secret keys.
If you run the program without --batch, a warning does inform
you if your secret key needs to be converted; simply use
--change-passphrase to recalculate the checksum. Please do this
soon, as the compatible mode will be removed sometime in the future.
* CAST5 works (using the PGP's special CFB mode).
* Again somewhat more PGP 5 compatible.
* Some new test cases
PGP signing does not work anymore - I did not found the bug; the new
tests work on PGP 5 generated keyrings and use DSA and CAST5 successfully;
a decryption of a PGP5 created file works (decrypt-dsa.test) but
a verification of a PGP5 created signature does not work (no test case).
The stuff compiles fine on a Alpha but it has some problems with the secret
key protecting. Although I have access to a really big Alpha, it is
a very lengthly process to debug something over the internet - so any
help is greatly appreciated - please tell me if you like to work on this
and I can elaborate on the checksum error problem and my last bug fix.
g10/gpgd (the keyserver) does not yet work ;-)
