GnuPG 1.0.0 & large files - part 3

after several new tries I have some new data:


trying symmetrical encryption on textdata (resulting ascii output ~ 1.8MB)
gives on decryption
  pgp: [don't know]: invalid packet (ctb=43) near 32882
  pgp: [don't know]: invalid packet (ctb=xx) near 32883?
  pgp: [don't know]: invalid packet (ctb=xx) near 32884?
  pgp: no valid OpenPGP data found
the 2nd and 3rd may not be completely correct.

So an error seems to be in the symmetrical encryption - not necessarily in
the zipping or session key en/decryption (I think).
