GnuPG for pure DOS ?

Yes, it is due to the Console function which are needed for Win32.
I can't see an advantage of using DOS instead of a GNU system - and
the DOS emulataorwork realy fine for my very old DOS stuff.

You should be able to compile it using DJGPP and I actually had a
report on this.
