Installation problems...

Thanks for the info.  A couple more questions if I may.  I am going to
download/install the GCC software from the HP development site which has to
been done via root.  Once this is completed, do I need to install GnuPG via
root as well?  Or doesn't it matter?  Thanks in advance...

Looks like you're using the C compiler that came with the system.
Either purchase the commercial HP C compiler or install GCC.
