- License incompatibilities (GPGME is GPL and cannot be linked with
  non-GPL programs. Qt is non-GPL on windows)
- GPGME is not supported on windows. (I know it may work, though)

I think the license incompatibility is reason enough, as long as the
gpgme license doesn't get an exception clause to allow linking with qt.
