It seems that tehre is a parsing error in the MDC packet (which comes
after the actual data).  The CTB=14 might indicate a one-off: the MDC
packet actuually starts with 0xD3, 0x14 followed by the 20 byte
digest.

Can you please try to encrypt such a message with compression disabled
(-z 0) and another test with --cipher CAST5 (due to a different
blocklength).

To reproduce this we would of course like to get a testfile; but this
is probably not easy to do.  Any clues, like size of the file?
