Well, I've switched to makeinfo v 4.8, updated/graded the binutls &
runtime; but still 'crap out' with the error:

I'm using MSYS v. 1.0.0.11 and am giving serious consideration to
re-installing it again.  Any more Suggestions will be most Welcome.
