I wouldn't be surprised if there were some private GnuPG versions in
circulation, modified to use the semi-public Chiasmus algorithm.  The
other home-grown German algorithm, Libelle, is hardware-only, and
implementing it in software would really, really piss off some people,
I suppose. 8-)
