That is no contadiction. The framework integrates well with any GUI
stuff. It merely handles the communication with the client
(e.g. gpg-agent) and thus make sure that all pinentries of the pinentry
package speak the same protocol.
A generic GTK+ pinentry would be identically to the current one but not
using the Secure Text Entry Widget.
