FWIW; "NSA nervousness" could very well be a 'Social Engineering' tactic
explicitly designed into lulling folks into a false sense of security.
Additionally, note should be taken of the phrase "in the past" and
respect given to the fact that NSA & their ilk recruit, employ and
devote literally 1,000's of mathematicians & analysts to 'solving
problems' and if any 'solutions' are discovered they _won't_ be
advertised or published. :-\
People are responsible for determining their Own threat model and acting
accordingly. From experience I can assure You that anything that really
makes NSA nervous won't be discussed with more than a handful of folks
outside Ft. Meade.
