GPG for Android is based on gnupg-for-java, which was written years ago by
Stefan Richter:
https://github.com/smartrevolution/gnupg-for-java
We have done a lot of work to it, including new features, many bug fixes, and
a port from GnuPG 1.4 to GnuPG 2.1. I've finally split out our work from the
Android project into its own repository:
https://github.com/guardianproject/gnupg-for-java
This should run on any platform where Java and JNI are supported, but I have
only tested this on Android. Patches welcome! Be aware: it does require
GnuPG 2.x, the passphrase handling has been remove since GnuPG 2.x handles
passphrases via gpg-agent.
