Hi,
Are we going to propose any projects for the Google Summer of Code 2018?
- https://www.gnu.org/software/soc-projects/ideas-2017.html
- http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/summer-of-code/2017-01/msg00000.html
I have a couple of project ideas. For example:
1 - Rewrite EasyGnuPG (https://github.com/dashohoxha/egpg)
so that it is built with Python and GPGME
2 - Implement a GUI to EasyGnuPG (maybe with Python).
3 - Extend EasyGnuPG with scripts/commands that automate
other common usage scenarios (for example keeping the master key on a
card).
I would be ready to be a mentor for these projects, but I don't have
enough experience neither with Python, nor with GPGME (and neither
with advanced scenarios, like keeping the master key on a card).
So, if someone would like to be a co-mentor this would be helpful.
Regards,
Dashamir
