I appreciate why you are suggesting this, but it is not possible to do
universally.  I have noted that some keyservers used by GnuPG users are not
in the Windows PGP documentation, for example (and I have to use PGP
keyservers under Windows to send my keys to keyservers, there being no such
facility with Windows GnuPG).

Also, Ldap keyservers (for instance) are supposed to share key information,
and there have been problems of keys on http keyservers reported to the
PGP-Basics discussion list, so probably the best idea would be to get a
list of *reliable* keyservers that share information and they are
cross-platform, not just for Linux.
