I think you mean the way Outlook Express formats PGP. Yes, its bad through
the official plug-in, but not with the Bear Software Netscape plug-in which
also supports Outlook Express.
At present, the only Windows e-mail program rthat supports GnuPG is Becky 2.
I'm a pure and simple Windows user (I have no intention of going the Linux
route) and I use Becky 2 with its GnuPG plug-in.
I'll be pleased to help anybody wanting more information about Windows,
GnuPG, PGP, and Becky 2.
