Strictly, you don't have to, but you'll probably want to.

It doesn't change the key itself. Keep in mind you are using the key
to sign / encrypt, and not any uid attached to it.
Ex: You add the uid "Justin Miller <foo@bar.tld>", and sign a message
with your key.
Anyone who has the "old" version, without the new uid will see "Good
signature from ...(your two old uid's).
Anyone who has the "new" version, with the new uid will see "Good
signature from ...(your two old uid's)... also known as 'Justin Miller
<foo@bar.tld>'.
Anyone sending mail to your foo@bar.tld address, while having the "old
version", will probably have to manually select the key to use to
encrypt the message (their MUA will say something along the lines of
"No key found for foo@bar.tld"). If one has the "new version", one's
MUA can automatically select the key.
