Going back about a year, I could only find this thread discussing the
default uid:

...and a couple of others abortive attempts to ask the same question I
did, without any answer.
Is there some other part of the archive that you were talking about?

P.S. The delete-and-reimport method sucks! I'll live with having
another primary UID for now.
