Most keyservers don't like a 'bare' revocation certificate, so import the
certificate into gpg first:
gpg --import my-revocation.asc
then send the key to the keyservers:
gpg --keyserver certserver.pgp.com --send-keys mykeyid
you may wish to send it to more than one server, I usually use pgp.mit.edu and
certserver.pgp.com, as well as horowitz.surfnet.nl
