If GnuPG, like PGP, signs the Text prior to the Client Editor invoking
it's word wrap, then the signatures will fail verification because the
text has been altered (wrapped in this case) *after* GPG has signed the
text.
PGP has included the word wrap feature to get around just such a
situation, allowing you to set PGP's word wrap 2 or 3 characters less than
the Client's Editor wrap value, rendering the Client's wrapping redundant,
therefore the message is sent wrapped by PGP... then signed... with no
further editing taking place. The only other way around this problem that
I can see, is if GnuPG somehow signs the text *after* Client wrapping, but
how does one guarantee this happens?
