After upgrading GnuPG to version 1.0.5-1 I am receiving the following error
message:
gpg: /home/kfrazier/.gnupg/secring.gpg: can't create keyring: Permission
denied
gpg: keyblock resource `/home/kfrazier/.gnupg/secring.gpg': file open error
gpg: /home/kfrazier/.gnupg/pubring.gpg: can't create keyring: Permission
denied
gpg: keyblock resource `/home/kfrazier/.gnupg/pubring.gpg': file open error
Here is a listing of my .gnupg directory:
-rw-rw-r-- 1 kfrazier kfrazier 3029 Apr 22 20:13 options
-rw-rw-r-- 1 kfrazier kfrazier 2924 Apr 7 14:15 options.org
-rw-rw-r-- 1 kfrazier kfrazier 47036 Apr 26 22:10 pubring.gpg
-rw-rw-r-- 1 kfrazier kfrazier 45383 Apr 26 22:06 pubring.gpg~
-rw-rw-r-- 1 kfrazier kfrazier 600 Apr 27 09:24 random_seed
-rw-rw-r-- 1 kfrazier kfrazier 2467 Apr 7 14:21 secring.gpg
-rw-rw-r-- 1 kfrazier kfrazier 13400 Apr 26 22:10 trustdb.gpg
I'm running RedHat Linux 7.1 and updated via rpm.
After "upgrading" (rpm -Uvh --force gnupg*.rpm) from the RedHat CD-ROM back to
version 1.0.4-11 everything works fine.
Thanks,
Kent
