Hi,
did you never noticed the footer below all messages:
> Gnupg-users mailing list
> Gnupg-users@gnupg.org
> http://lists.gnupg.org/mailman/listinfo/gnupg-users
So go to that URL, enter your mail address and *read* the next page.
There is a link to send you the password. =20
It is so easy, but I still get dozens of these complaints a week.

Hello listmaster,
lgo> did you never noticed the footer below all messages:

Bla, bla, bla
When i was studying i had to use PIPE to read emails
and there were no www access...
Furthermor - at the moment i am behind the firewall
and have no www access. And i think i am not the only one
So the instructions to unsubscribe are:
1) send letter to gnupg-users-request@gnupg.org
with one word in the body
password
you will recieve a notice of what your current password is
2) send a second letter to gnupg-users-request@gnupg.org
with two words in the body
unsubscribe <yourpassword>
here <yourpassword> is the password you got in the response to
your first letter
Note:
all these holds true if you write your letters from the address
under which you are subscribed.
This is a common practice and i hope this helps

A pointer to the full headers of list email would have done, too.

Hello GNUpg users,
I use Slypheed, and I like it very much, but I would like to experiment =

GNUpg on other email clients. I am not interested in mutt, pine or any =

Give Evolution a try, it's pretty slick. I haven't tried others
combined with GnuPG. =3D20
I can't go without a quick plug for mutt ;-) I used GUI clients for
years and years and thought I HATED console clients, but I wanted to =
get
GnuPG working and felt that mutt would be the easiest to do this with.
Once I tried it and realized its power and community support, like they
say I can "never use another client again". It truly is worth a try,
and perhaps the easiest way would be to find a good .muttrc from =
someone
and start from there. Also, you may be interested in this:=3D20

It's a guide to mutt/GnuPG that I wrote. =3D20

Well, although you're not interested, I use mutt and like it a lot -
IMHO better than all the GUI clients I came across.

I know I'm not the first one to plug Mutt here, in spite of the fact
you said you weren't interested, but take it as a sign. "All mail
clients suck, this one just sucks less." (Jeremy Blosser/Michael
Elkins)
Seriously. There is a little up front work, but if you want a really
slick client, try Mutt. A little up front config, and you can prevent
those long lines :) and you can do slick little things with your mail
right from your keyboard.

I don't get it - mutt displays it just fine. It's just worse to read
than 72 char lines. And this also holds true for Mozilla - a typical
MUA which handles too long lines well.

Just curious, but is Mutt incapable of wrapping incoming messages? His
lines seem fine here, using Becky which must automatically wrap long
lines because I see no problem here.=20

Well, I wouldn't call it "incapable" - it doesn't mess around with
incoming messages and leaves them the way they were send.
But yes, mutt doesn't have such a "mess up" feature :) But it's not
that bad - see http://dp.ath.cx/~askwar/Shot/2001_11_08_192153_shot.png
to see how a message with long lines looks like.
