compiling gnupg-1.0.6 on SCO OpenServer 5.0.x

Hello. I am attempting to compile gpg on a SCO OpenServer 5.0.x platform
(have tried it on both 5.0.5 and 5.0.6) and am getting the same results
each time:
1) I run ./configure which completes fine
2) I run make and it bombs with the following:
