Features for updating your key preferences are not present
in 1.0.6-2 and earlier. You have four or more choices:

1) Go through the mindbending experience of building
GnuPG 1.0.7/MingW32 yourself on a Linux machine
and use this new Windows version to edit your key
preferences. It's not necessary that you use the new
version for anything besides editing key preferences.

Uh, let's see, rule 1: "I am currently running Windows"

OK, bad answer...

2) Edit the keys on a Linux or Unix computer using
GnuPG 1.0.7 and export them back to your computer.=20

Uh, let's see, rule 1: "I am currently running Windows"

OK, bad answer...

3) Load CygWin and compile GnuPG-1.0.7 under
CygWin. Edit your keys using the new version and
export it back to your GnuPG-1.0.6 installation.

OK, it doesn't violate rule 1, but it's not my favorite
answer because the process is just about as much
fun as #1 above.

4) Download GnuPG-1.0.7/MingW32 precompiled=20
from one of the unofficial sources appearing in=20
references on the archives to this list.

OK, OK, Werner hasn't officially released it. It=20
could contain bugs. There are some risks. But
I can confirm that the nullify.org release has been
working for me. There are some changes that you
need to understand. You could use it to replace
1.0.6 if you're as daring as I am, or you could=20
simply use 1.0.7 to edit your keys and then=20
export them back to 1.0.6. =20

Ultimately you will need to edit your keys in=20
1.0.7, and you may need to export them back
to 1.0.6 if you want to eschew the unofficial
binaries. If you decide to edit and export,
let me know and I'll provide you with "options"
to use in 1.0.7 that will allow the keys to be
exported to 1.0.6.

  Hi,

I am trying to change my key preferences, but I am currently running =
Windows and thus I don't have gnupg 1.0.7 and 1.0.6-2 doesn't seem to =
support this. Could anyone tell me of a possible way of doing this?
