Yes.  The problem is a very old install of OpenLDAP on the RedHat box.
I've fixed the GnuPG autoconf (it'll be in 1.0.8) to work properly in
that case.

In the meantime, you can successfully build on the RedHat box if you
run configure as "./configure --disable-ldap"
