Check out http://mutt.org/doc/PGP-Notes.txt for the basics.  The rest of the
mutt manual[1] covers other options available.

One things that always comes up is whether to use PGP/MIME or not.  There
have been many threads about this on the mutt-users list (and a few here as
well).  Search the mutt-users archives[2] to find out more. 

If you still have questions after that, try asking on the mutt-users list,
they're pretty helpful folks.
