It helps as far as establishing a pattern of signing your emails, so
that a non-signed email is immediately suspect even before viewing
the content. It also provides protection against more personalized,
non-worm, email forgeries. FWIW, I've heard rumors of a Mailman patch
to verify sigs, but I don't think any list is truly ready for such
a thing yet.
