When using svn version gnupg, why isnt svn version shown with gpg --version

As David Shaw Posted here earlier; after the release of 1.4.8 there was
a failure to re-set the flag to indicate 1.4.9rc1-svn for subsequent SVN
releases.  This was 'fixed' with svn4703/4 released earlier today.

Try building the most current SVN release. :-\
