Solution: Crontab running gpg script can’t find secret key

Here's what works for me:


echo 'password' | gpg -vvv --homedir /root/.gnupg --batch --passphrase-fd 0
--output /usr/share/file.gpg --encrypt --sign /usr/share/file.tar.bz2
