GPA fails to verify certain .asc files

Thanks Damien - this looks like the issue I was facing.  I don't habitually use
GPA.  I did on this occasion because I accidentally opened GPA when I clicked
inadvertently on the downloaded signature file - so I decided to use GPA to
verify and got the 'bad' signature.

I'll try and upgrade the GPA.
