Reading the descriptors:

It says:

   02.... Short APDU level exchange

This means that the reader cannot handle larger data.

So, I think that Omnikey CardMan 3121 can work in the use case with
OpenPGP card if it's key is RSA 1024.

But it doesn't work well for RSA-2048 or RSA-4096.
