So if I understand correctly, you want to check in server, whether it has sent the OCSP responses to client right? If that's the case then if the server has OCSP responses to send, and the client requested them, they are sent. The new API answers the latter (did client requested them?). So is your question on whether the is an API to query whether it has responses to sent, or it is about making it easier to do this deduction with a new api?
