Can't compile gpa, getting error in make

I have already contacted Peter, and got his support. I will begin the
ChangeLog as soon as I receive a series of diffs leading from 0.4.3 to 0.5.0
he'll send me.

I think the right way to do it would be to post the ChangeLog for each diff
here, along with it, as I finish it. That way it can be reviewed before
being committed into CVS.

Are there any particular guidelines for the ChangeLog that I should follow,
other than the usual ones from the GNU coding standards?
