relative (i.e., /gph, /gpg, etc.).  This causes a major issue when 
exporting the site to a mirror because the link returns a 404.

We've got two solutions:

1. make links absolute: this is the simplest solution.
2. mirror manuals and HOWTOs as well: increases mirror traffic, but 
documents are backed up.

I'd prefer the latest solution since the increased traffic is just a 
peak at the beginning because those documents are seldmoly updated, but 
documents are backed up.  Nevertheless, this solution requires Werner's 
intervention.
