Agenda for the general meeting 2018

Hello!

below is my first take on an agenda for the general meeting.  I need to
send send out the invitation in the next 2 weeks.  Comments are welcome.

* Agenda for the general meeting 2018

This is the agenda for the general meeting we are legally required to
hold.  A protocol of this needs to be written, signed by the chair, and
send to the registration court.  We can and should keep it as brief as
possible.

Date: 2018-02-02 (Friday)\\
Venue: Brussels, exact location TBD

** Greeting
** Determination of resolution-ability
 
   Count members and delegation of votes.

** Report of the board for the last year

   - Activities
   - Finacial status

** Formal approval of the board's actions

** Election to fill vacant positions of the board

   Due to the the resignation of the treasurer, this position is vacant
   and a new treasurer needs to be elected.  The term of the elected
   person will be the full 2 years.

*** Candidates

   Andre agreed to run for treasurer.  Thus means we also need to
   elect a new vice chairperson.

** Membership rules and fees

   - Who should be accepted as a member?
   - How do we want to concretely handle supporting members?
   - Membership fees.

   According to our constitution we need to have financial membership
   fees also for regular members.  My suggestion would be to collect 24
   Euros a year with the option to replace this financial contribution
   by volunteer work (like staffing a booth or contributing software).

   This should be written down in a membership fee plan, which needs to
   be decided upon.

* Informal agenda

This is the informal agenda of discussions outside of the general
meeting.  For topics which are in preparation of the general meeting we
should discuss that before that formal general meeting (surprise).

** Membership fees

  How do we actually implement them, which infrastructure etc.

** Concrete long term goals

  More concrete long / short term goals for the Verein apart from the
  general goals outlined in our constitution.

** How to spend funds

  Resulting from that: How should we spend the funds we received (or
  will receive) and how do we control that the funds are spent according
  to our goals.

** Other activities

  What our activities as a Verein (apart from collecting and spending
  money) should be, and who would like to contribute what.
