and this is my reply: Werner, I don't want to pursue this any more, but this is some new version of the word "free" I have not yet come across. You don't have to pay for GnuPGShell, no registration is required, you can give it away to your friends without restriction, and it is freely available. It therefore meets my definition of being "free". This is the usually accepted meaning of the word "free" amongst those that use Windows. Now, it is true that Roger has not issued the source code, but this is because he is restricted by the software he uses. I understand he uses special functions which come with VBasic and/or Windows itself, and as these are not Open Source he cannot publish them. Others might deprecate the fact, but if you use propriatory software in Windows you will have to accept these sorts of constraints. How is it not free? Because it is not covered by a GPL? - --=20 Graham <graham.todd@ntlworld.com> Please Use My PGP/GnuPG Key ID 0xE935DB9D -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (MingW32) Comment: Powered by Becky!2 iD8DBQE7ws5KIwtBZOk1250RAgcmAJ4gyNCJHNcJxURCgGEfHi1w5RsXbACfXRoq irEqtitmU9l9TQqpAKnTSO0=3D =3DIz+A -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
