Not only in GPA, but all GPG client isn't functioning in ubuntu.

Please run gpg on the command line to see what is going on:

  gpg -v -k >/dev/null

shows just the diagnostics.  Without the ">/dev/null" you will see all
your keys.

Does that work or is there a strange error message?  What is the output
of

  gpg --version

?
