I committed the changes to 2.0 and also the ones which are applicable
to 1.4.

While build test, I encountered a failure of makeinfo (with Texinfo
5.2), I backported a part of changes in
ff6115227a1ced14e2fb3d160a12181b9dfbc502 to 1.4.

Then, no build failures with "make check" (for 2.0 and for 1.4).

Agreed.

For specific cases like OpenPGP card manufacturer IDs and supported
card readers, I think that WiKi also helps.
